Dre Hilton's passion for music began at his father's church in St. Louis, MO, where he discovered his love for performing. At just five years old, Dre learned how to play the drums and piano, and as a child, he was inspired by music legends like Michael Jackson and James Brown. At the age of 12, Dre started writing and producing his own music, which quickly gained popularity in his hometown.

In 2013, Dre moved to Pigeon Forge, TN, to join The Soul of Motown Show, where he earned the nickname "Mr. Smiley" for his high energy and captivating performances. For eight years, Dre toured with the show and paid tribute to soul music legends such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, James Brown, and The Temptations. Today, Dre continues to keep old school music alive through his performances in The Sounds of Soul Show at Steven Best's Smoky Mountain Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN.
